Christmas Gifts

Just a few things I made for my sisters for our Christmas exchange. My youngest sister enjoys scrapping so I made her a create banner and my middle sister enjoys sewing so I made her a sew sign with wood letters.

These are wine bottles turned upside down to use as a candle holder. I ripped up paper and pasted it to the glass and then decorated to my liking. Neither one of my sisters like a lot of flowers, bling or lace so I kept all gifts as simple as I could and for those that know me, know how hard that is for me. Thanks for visiting.

Shabby Chic Tag

I Made this tag for a challenge on the Flying Unicorn. We had to use 25 different techniques per tag tot finish the Master part of the challenge. And I did it. Whew, was that a lot of stuff to add so needless to say, it's a pretty good size tag.

Altered Pants Pocket

Cut out the pockets from a pair of old pants, decorated it and even added a "pocket watch" to the inside that will hang from the pocket when taken out. Makes a cute little purse also. The flowers are from I am Roses. There is a link in my blog to take you there.

Tag & Scrap Space

Decided to make a tag today while I was in the mood. I find it very hard to scrap these days since I've had to down size so drastically. No longer do I have my own separate scrap room. I now share my scrappy with my bedroom. Most everything is stuffed in closets throughout the house so I'm always rummaging through things to find what I need. I have got to find a better way but until then, this is it.
As you can see, the closet is stuffed full with scrapping supplies. My clothes are shoved off to each side. Thank God I don't have many clothes these days. The tables are actually sofa tables so they are not very wide, hence a lot of things fall off the back so I have to make sure that things are closed up tight before setting it on the table. Already lost a half bottle of modge podge when it went flying off the back of the table. Trust me, my carpet isn't going anywhere. lol
Yes, that would be my bed that you see shoved into the corner of the room. There is a small night table next to it and that's about all that fits.
